What Is Lime Wash?
Lime wash is a mineral finish that soaks into the surface rather than sitting on top of it, producing a soft, cloud-like depth no flat emulsion can match. Because it is breathable, moisture escapes instead of being trapped behind a film — which is exactly what you want in Singapore's humidity.
Where It Works Best
Feature walls, bedrooms, and open-plan living areas benefit most. We also apply lime wash over existing smooth plaster and skim coat after appropriate priming.
Our Application Process
Lime wash is applied by hand in two or more passes, each cross-hatched to build the movement in the finish. It is slower than roller work and the result is genuinely one-off, so we always agree a sample panel with you before starting the full wall.
