What We Fit
Homogeneous, ceramic, porcelain and mosaic tiling to floors and walls, skirting, and full bathroom and kitchen retiling including waterproofing.
Overlay Without Hacking
Where the existing screed is sound, tiling over the old floor avoids days of hacking, disposal and dust, and costs less. We test for hollowness and level first and will tell you when overlay is not appropriate.
Hollow Tiles
A hollow-sounding tile is a bonding failure and it spreads. We replace affected tiles and correct the bedding rather than simply regrouting the symptom.
Frequently Asked Questions
Usually, provided the existing tiles are well bonded and the finished height still works at doorways. We check both before quoting.
The bedding has not bonded properly. It tends to spread, so affected tiles are best lifted and reset rather than left.
